Year 4 is coming soon. Are you coming to my birthday party Saturday? Not too many people are I hear. Bummer. I love my family and love seeing them, so you should really show up.

It is a baseball party. We will have good food. Weather should be nice so I can play with everyone outside.

Eight more days until I am three years old. Are you coming to my birthday party Saturday?

Papa has been going through the last years photos and will be posting the final one year gallery soon. Stay tuned. He also has been trying to figure out how he will be doing year four of this website.

Mommy has been planning the birthday party and spending a lot of time with my since Papa has been working strange hours. The new second home is working out good, except the mornings are hard when Papa says he has to leave. I pout for a little bit but the teachers make it all better. Don’t know who makes it all better after Papa leaves, he leaves sad but I hope he feels better just as fast as I do.

Mommy also has been allowing me to build ladders and water towers and cars in the living room. Papa has some pictures of my creations, they are quite detailed. Mommy also really loves my new dance moves and she likes that I update her every time I catch a football and tell her how many in a row I catch.

So I guess I will be seeing all of you this Saturday? Hopefully the weather will be good so we can play CALVINBALL outside. You don’t know what Calvinball is? Read up here:

I went swimming yesterday at the place I will be going to second home at on Nov. 1st. Had fun! Drank water a few times and it went up my nose once, but all in all I did pretty well. I better get a hang of it quick because I will be doing this once a week at second home. The building is right next to a real large water tower as well. I like the place. My parents are hoping for a smooth transition to it from the place I have spent a 1/5 of my life in. I am probably going to miss Miss Dawn and Miss Tara and Miss Jean. I think there will be some crying going on with them and my parents on the 31st when I go there for the last time.

• I call people on my open and shut phone.
• I sing a lot. Mostly made up songs.
• I dance a lot. Mostly silly dance moves.
• I mimic every sport on TV.
• I play “Calvin Ball.”
• I went to my first wedding.
• I visited a new second home twice last week.
• I went on a Hay ride.
• I rode a pony and a train and fed some sheep. “They licked me.”
• I build space ships, cars and trains out of anything in the house.
• I took apart part of the brick patio and made a race car.
• I can catch a football now.
• I can hit a baseball when pitched to me.
• I drew in the lines today, a tennis racket held by Snoopy.
• I set the rules in the house now.
• I made apple dip with mommy.  I held the blender.
• I also cut apples for the apple dip.
• I can turn our living room into a play room in less than 30 seconds.
• The comfy couch is my car, train, garbage truck, plane and anything else that I can imagine up.
• “Mommy is on the ‘puter.’ Where is my puter?”
• “I want a baseball birthday.”
• “I wanna watch a moooovieeeee.”
• “I wanna watch a marching band game.”
• I sat in a fire truck, sprayed a real fire hose, went to a football game, and went to my cousin’s Tyler’s soccer game all in one day.
• “I wanna help.”

Lots of fun things happening lately:

• Went to the Museum of Science and Industry with Aunt Suse and my parents. Saw the U505 and a bunch of planes and trains.  I stood with Papa in a vortex (tornado) which was scary fun.
• On our trip to the museum, we went and watch surfers surfing on Lake Michigan. Papa was ecstatic! He thought I would see my first surfer elsewhere.
• Went on a photo shoot with Aunt Julie, Uncle Dave, Jack, Josh, Krista and my parents. We went all over the place in a mini-van taking photos of Krista. I sat with Josh and Jack in the very back of the mini van. We had big fun taking divots out of the backyard and running around. Good times.
• I have found that dancing to music is quite fun. From a drawing board that plays music to the silly music Papa listens to: I dance to it all. My parents even have a video or 3 of me dancing. It is really hard for them not to laugh while filming.
• I stopped taking naps on the weekends, and by the end of the day, I fall asleep fast. Mommy puts me to bed almost every night now. She reads to me and we say our prayers and I fall asleep happy. Mommy reads all my favorite books.
• I have discovered “Calvin Ball.” I combine 3-4 different sports at once and play. Papa says it is called Calvin ball because of another Calvin, but I think it is really called that because of me. I don’t even have a tiger stuffed animal.
• I went to my first and second football game the last few weeks, it was fun and I got a free football at one. It is my new favorite toy.
• I have found that one of my favorite things to do it play with Mommy on the comfy couch. I sit on her lap, jump on her, she makes me fly like an eagle, and she drives in a garbage truck with me.
• My last few teeth are coming in and boy it hurts sometimes.
• I got bit a lot by a mean kid at second home. Same kid all the time. It worries Mommy and Papa.
• I play a lot on my own and my imagination is really soaring.

• I really like Brookfield Zoo.
• I touched a Sting Ray.
• A full grown lion was 6 inches from my face. Thank you 2 inches of glass.
• The O and the K button on the DVD player.
• Out of the blue, I said “I love you Papa, I love you Mommy.”
• More stories about past experiences make Mommy and Papa laugh so hard.
• I want to go see fireworks at the castle at the start of Disney movies.
• My favorite dinner the last year has been Stars and Miss Donalds.
• I have a favorite tricyle.
• Chocooolate milllk.
• I love fire trucks.
• I sing the baseball song before bed every night. Root, root, root for the White Sox.
• I celebrate home runs with fireworks.
• I sometimes laugh while I sleep.
• I sometimes scream for my TAGS when I sleep.
• I kick Papa in the face a lot at night.
• I laugh at Buzz Lightyear in Spanish mode.
• I amaze my Mommy on a daily basis. She is never been in this much love.
• I like Band aides on my freck… I mean mosqweeetooo bites.
• Aunt Suse is my best friend.
• I tell stories about my friends Abanube, Eric, Sarah, Aiden, Katlen, and Max at Second home.
• Papa misses taking me to Second Home. He misses Ms. Dawn, Miss Tara, Miss Jean, Miss Lauren, Miss Dezeria and Miss Maryln. He wants to take them all to dinner.
• Papa tells his new co-workers about me all the time. They think I am cute.
• “I am not sweetie pie”
• “Bless you Papa.”
• “bless you Mommy.”
• “Esscoooze me!”
• “Oweeeeeee.”

Keeping you up to date:

• Stayed at Aunt Julie’s house for over 2 days.
• Went to see Thomas the Tank Engine in Union IL.
• Ran 3/4 of a lap on a running track around a football field.
• Started a new dancing/running in a circle then falling down dance craze.
• Started to tell stories about what I did lately. Some of them are quite funny and need to be documented by my parents.
• Went to see Papa’s new work place.
• Hit a baseball when it was pitched to me.
• Wear “soccer shoes” almost every day. Papa has the same pair.
• Announced that Baseball is my favorite sport. White Sox being the only team I know.
• Watched Softball for 2 hours one day.
• Made my Mommy laugh so many times in one night, she couldn ‘t stop laughing. Papa as well. It was the running in circles dance.
• Went to the Chicago Air show at North Beach all day.
• Papa sometimes puts me to sleep on the weekends with a car drive.
• hairplanes, I like hairplanes.
